ABOUT US

If you've been to Camp Minneshanka before, you know Helena. And if you know Helena, you know how much she loved Camp Minneshanka. It was her entire life. She lovingly referred to it as her own little slice of paradise. She loved it so much that she lived on site year round with her son, Ronnie. A memorial bench was installed at the entrance of the camp so that visitors and campers alike can visit her whenever they want. Her loss has been felt deeply by all of us here at camp, but we're ready and excited to welcome campers back for an unforgettable summer! It's what Helena would've wanted!!

Camp Minneshanka has brought joy to countless children (and adults, too) for over 50 years!!

Ronnie has taken over as owner and operator. He marks the third generation of Camp Minneshanka, after his grandfather (who built this place practically by himself!!) and his mother. We know Helena couldn't be more proud of him and will surely be keeping watch over him as he attempts to fill her shoes!

Camp Minneshanka has been a family owned and operated summer camp since 1972. We offer a variety of sessions so we can welcome children of all ages to share in our beautiful home away from home!!
